Kid's Hope
Mark 9:37: “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not only welcome me but the one who sent me.”
Kids Hope USA is a church-based mentoring program working with students at the elementary level. Our church has partnered with Brown Elementary to train caring adults to befriend a child in a one on one relationship. Mentors meet once a week with a child at school for one hour. That hour is filled with tutoring, games, relationship building and lots of laughter. Separation of church-state is taught to be fully respected. Our goal is to build confidence. We believe that every child is unique and has great value in this world.
