Frontline Ministries
Ministry to greet and welcome those visiting our church.

Some studies have shown that guests who were welcomed by five or more people at a service were much more likely to return than those who were greeted by fewer than five. Thus making every member of the church has a very important role in greeting and welcoming visitors to our church.

There are some specific areas that members can volunteer to aid our church in being a welcoming place for those who are visiting.

Information Hosts: Greeting in the foyer before and after both morning and evening services. Answering any questions and directing visitors to the nurseries, classrooms, and restrooms as needed. One of the ways to have a positive first impression on visitors.

Coffee Servers: Serving coffee and cookies immediately following the morning service in the Fellowship Hall. Offering a warm smile and friendly greeting to visitors and members alike.

Sunday Coffee Fellowship: This a once a month ministry to both visitors and members. Small groups of 8 - 12 people meet in various homes for a time of coffee, water, soda and fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know a variety of members and an easy way to invite visitors over to fellowship. Coffee Fellowship is scheduled Sept. through March (following the Sunday School schedule).

Host Members: A new ministry aimed at helping members who have just joined our church family to become integrated in the fellowship and service of our church. A host member invites the new member to Church Life events, coffee, dinners, encourages them to become involved in a small group, and helps them find an area to serve in our church.
