HOME Cadets (Boys Club)
Cadets is a Christ-centered club for boys in 4th – 8th grades. We have many Christian men who donate time to teach boys crafts and skills, but more importantly it is done in a Christian atmosphere. These men are called counselors and we typically have two counselors per class, trying to maintain at least a 3 to 1 ratio of cadets to counselors. We are involved in council activities. These activities typically occur on Saturdays and take place at various locations with as many as 21 other area churches. We do many activities as a club, such as swimming, gym night Berlin races, weekend campouts, canoe trips, laser tag, etc. Meetings begin with a Bible lesson and then go into activities, projects or fun time. We close each meeting singing Living for Jesus and with prayer. Cadets typically meet three Mondays of each month (Sept-April) from 7-9 PM in the basement of church.
